After observing multiple pedestrians at the Washington City Baseball fields almost getting hit by cars last spring, Tolman Rogers had an idea for his Eagle Scout project. He noticed the red paint on the curbing had faded. At night, it is hard for drivers to know where to park, since the paint was hard to see. With the help of 36 people in the community, the “no parking” areas on the curbs of Community Center Drive and Park View Drive were repainted.
Please be aware of safe places to park at the ball park and watch for pedestrians.
Tolman Rogers is a member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 212 in Washington UT. One of the requirements of a Boy Scout to achieve the Eagle rank, a scout must carry out a project that benefits a religious institution, a school or community.
